Windows 10 now seems to get a much-needed Quick Share functionality in the upcoming future. All thanks go to Microsoft’s collaboration with Samsung. For many years, Microsoft and Samsung partnered for a new Windows feature to work well with android phones. Especially Samsung handsets. Now, the latest Quick Share app is paving its path towards the Microsoft Store for Windows 10.
Noticed by Aggiornamenti Lumia, the new Windows feature will enable you to share images, records, and other files remotely (and instantly) between your PC and smartphone.
Fresh Windows Feature Catch
A lot of people waited to quickly transfer files between their Windows 10 PC and smartphone. Many MacBook and iPhone consumers enjoyed this with AirDrop for a while. So, the headlines that there is a similar new Windows feature coming should impress many people. However, it appears that this Windows feature could be limited to Samsung Galaxy android phones or tablet users only. As a result, people with different smartphones are going to miss it.
Unfortunately, this is a theme for Microsoft and Samsung’s partnership. It has culminated in some fantastic new Windows features for your Windows 10 and Your Phone application. However, many of the best modifications are available only on Samsung’s handsets.
Samsung wants to show up new features that are only available to its handsets and encourage people to purchase them. On the other side, it’s a pity that some superb Windows features are unavailable to many of its users. Luckily, Quick Share is coming to non-Samsung devices as well. Even if it doesn’t, it will at least demonstrate that the feature can be implemented. Therefore, someone else can make a better app accessible to all mobile phones and Windows 10 users.
Who doesn’t love a wide range of usability? With the new Windows feature around the corner, everyone is hyped to see how it lives up to their expectations.
